Is depression really live able with ?

I only ask this, because if you do not not have insurance you can not get the help you need and if had cheap insurance like myself only doctors who training will work with you, but only for a year. I guess after that they throw you away. So I just wonder howe serious is this disease, when it seem it all about making money and pills.
