Do I walk my dog before mating?

You can walk your dog before taking her to the stud.Just be careful if you have any other male dogs around.Do not leave her unattended at any time while she is receptive.It would be a shame to plan a breeding and then have an accidental breeding happen too.Also I suggest that you let her urinate just prior to the mating and then confine her to a crate for a few hours after.That way she doesn't urinate right after and wash out .Also I prefer to not let the dog run and jump around right after mating.Probably silly to do but I figure I do what ever to help ensure the eggs get fertilized.
