Where do i put draw reins on a elevator bit?

My horse i 19 years old and very headstrong. My instructor said that i migh want to try draw reins. The only prob;em i have is that i dont know where to put them on the bit? also i where do i put the reins? he has the bit with the 3 little circles and the one big one.
