Does the British establishment hate women ?

I mean, the one religion they cosy up to is Islam. Modern Islam pretty much oppresses women. Yet Dr. Rowan Williams suggests incorporating Sharia law on divorce, under which a woman literally has to beg her husband for divorce before an exclusively MALE judicial panel. This does not rest easily alongside the feminist ideal. Rowan Williams is undoubtedly a member of the establishment. Do you think these guys are closet mysoginists who secretly envy the muslims' power over their women, something they cannot openly state for fear of offending the feminists ?
