Color patch or desert/tan for ACU's?

My husband's in Afghanistan and he asked for me to order him some CENTCOM patches. I just went to order them and there's 2 options: Full color/dress or Desert/tan. I'm not sure which one to order. He's wearing the regular Army ACU's, but all of his patches are black, including the flag on his arm. Does anyone know which one he needs? I'm not sure when I'll be able to talk to him next and I'm trying to order them as soon as I can since we all know how long it takes for the mail to get there! Thank you!
