Can I teach at a community college with a bachelors in education&history and a masters in east asian studies?

You usually need to have a masters degree in the field of study as a minimum. If a community college gets desperate they may allow a related field but community colleges are not desperate in history. High school teachers often apply to teach as an adjunct in history but are seldom qualified. I have never heard of a community college offering east Asian studies. Usually the only history courses offerred at community colleges are US history and Western Civilization (European history).
