Best cheap, dry white wine for a creamy sauce?

Don't get a chardonnay unless you like the taste of er and licking oaked barrels. Go for a pinot grigio/gris, chenin blanc, or sauvignon blanc so it won't overpower the dish. Pick up one of those little 4 packs of little bottles for about $5. That way you can use one and save the others for risotto or something. It's a lot better than wasting a whole bottle for just half a cup. I use Bella Sera for cooking and I think it's great.
